Alrighty - first of all, in case anyone has missed it check out the new additions I’ve added to my blog: activist resources, a job board portal and an archive of speeches & lectures from smart amazing women.

Now, after I’ve buttered you up here comes the request for support. Obviously I love the idea that my blog is a free resource to any and all who need it. But at this particular juncture in my life I’m moving across the country in a week and a half and would like to use this opportunity to at least get the word out on a project I’ve started recently to help me raise money for my move (So I can get around town and eat in the first few days and get an air mattress to hold me over before I start working/getting paid from a “real” job).

THUS My etsy shop selflovebeauty was created!

In it I sell the following homemade items (which I’ve gotten really awesome reviews about… just saying):

The whipped shea butteris going to include shea butter, coconut oil & olive oil. 8 oz jars

The green tea sugar scrubsare going to be made withpure cane sugar,grapeseed oil,green tea leaves, and organic agave nectar. 8 oz jars

The Bath Crystals are going to be epsom salts hand mixed with essential oils. Single use baggies. Or if you’re using it as a foot soak its 3 servings!

All of these (for now) will be in the following 3 scents: Electric Lemon, Luscious Lavender & Perfect Peppermint. They are scented with all natural essential oils!

EVERYTHING IS UNDER TEN BUCKS (not including shipping).

Hopefully this can catch the eye for someone who was interested in beauty products but didnt wanna pay Bath & Body Work prices and wanted actual natural ingredients =)

But wait, there’s more!

Anyone who makes a purchase will get a few extra presents! I compiled a mixtape of a few of my favorite female artists and make a zip-folder of a lot of articles/book excerpts I’ve gotten from professors & research.

and if you would like the mixtape and 25+ articles but don’t quite need shea butter or sugar scrub - donations of any amount are also appreciated.
